A healthy school garden doesn’t require constant work, but a few simple maintenance tasks can ensure your Tiny Tower Garden stays productive year-round. Here’s a checklist to help students and teachers keep everything running smoothly. 🌱

🗓️ Daily Tasks

Check water levels and top off if needed.
Inspect plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
Make sure the water pump is running and circulating nutrients properly.
Harvest any ripe produce.

🗓️ Weekly Tasks

Test pH levels to ensure they’re within the 5.5–6.5 range.
Check and adjust nutrient levels as needed.
Clean the tower to prevent algae or residue buildup.
Rotate plants if needed to ensure even light distribution.

🗓️ Monthly Tasks

Clean the water reservoir and replace old water with fresh nutrient solution.
Prune overgrown plants to promote new growth.
Inspect the pump and tubing for clogs or damage.

💡 Involve Students in Maintenance

Assign students specific tasks or create a rotating schedule to ensure everyone participates. This promotes responsibility and hands-on learning.
